Main purpose

The main purpose and aims pursued by U.P.I.V.E.B. consist in:

- Promoting professional and personal relations among members.
- Encouraging information circulation and exchange among members.
- Representing and protecting members' interests in the relations with Italian and foreign Institutes, Authorities, and Organizations.
- Promoting and spreading technical culture and information among members.
- Actively participating in the formulation of norms and specifications through its participation in the activities of UNI, at a national level.
- Actively participating in the formulation of norms and specifications through its participation in the activities of ISO, at an international level.
- Representing the Italian fastener manufacturers with EU institutions.
- Defending the principle of fair competition against underhand and unfair business conducts.
- Encouraging and defending the "Made in Italy" fastener culture.
- Strengthening and improving the reputation of the Italian fasteners by taking part in fairs, exhibitions and events focused on the fastener industry in Italy and abroad.
- Working out, developing and promoting business sector analyses and studies.
- Publishing the magazine "Italian Fasteners", distributed in Italy and all over the world.
